Field 'AllowBusyAccess': What is it for? How can an administrator be able to see scheduling information for resources anyhow?
I have discovered a kind of new 'feature' in R&R template R8.5.3. There is a new field "AllowBusyAccess" which is actually restricting schedule information of particular rooms/resources. This restrictions are valid only for rooms/resources with owner restrictions set to "Specific people". It means that only those who are listed on specific people list are able to see the schedule information (availability) of particular rooms/resources.
The point is that Administrators are unable to see schedule information either, which makes an issue investigation a bit complicated.
I found out the script taking care about "AllowBusyAccess" field membership:
Form 'Resource'
Event 'QuerySave'
Elseif note.AutoProcessType(0)="2" Then
Call note.ReplaceItemValue("AllowBusyAccess", note.GetItemValue("AutoProcessUserList"))
This means not even an administrator is allowed to see this information visible.
What is the reason for that?
Can you explain logical background?
Can an administrator see that information anyhow?
Thank you in advance.
